Nudity at home is basically compulsory, to include sleeping in the nude. Both of my sons have been aware of adult sexual activity from a very young age; they have joined me in the shower, and have seen me having sex. My sons have even observed myself – and other wives in our circle of friends – providing with impromptu handjobs and/or blowjobs, around the pool, at Superbowl parties, family movie night, etc. We let them know its a natural thing that adults do in and around the home, not for public places and situations. As my sons matured, on a few occasions I have encountered each of them while masturbating, but its always a spontaneous thing (2 or 3 times)completely innocent, not a deliberate act of perversion. In order to deal with their natural urges and to manage the situation in a healthy manner, I suggested they masturbate at least twice a week (as pre-teens), and at least three or more times a week (as teenagers) in order to release pressure, relieve their natural urges and to stimulate healthy sperm production. My sons never masturbated in front of me (or in front of family &/or friends) on any kind of regular basis, but they are not hesitant to do so whenever it suits them. When I am home, I try to maintain an awareness of when they are masturbating, not necessarily to watch them (which I admittedly have done once or twice – not an unpleasant thing to observe), but to prevent them from unintentionally masturbating in front of visitors or guests not accustomed to our ways. Of course its not always possible to oversee all situations, and I have observed women from my circle of friends and acquaintances wrestling with their reactions to the unexpected sight of one or both of my sons walking into the room naked sporting hard, stiff erections and the women’s reactions always seems to arouse my boys even further. Usually, if we have guests or visitors and either of the sons become aroused (always being nude it is clearly visible) they are expected to excuse themself to their room, close the door and stroke it off, and then return while still naked. The closed door is a signal that whomever is on the other side is masturbating, not to be disturbed. Apart from the closed door policy (for my son’s masturbation requirements, on occasions when guests are present) the home rule is open doors at all times, even if one is masturbating or having full-on sex. At other times, I am comfortable with my sons masturbating openly in my presence. Because we are always naked, we have an open policy on sexuality, especially when it comes to masturbation. It is not condemned, not scolded nor viewed as shameful. Masturbation is normal and healthy, whether done either openly or in private (preferable but completely optional). On the few occasions when I have encountered on or both of my sons masturbating in front of me, its quite a spontaneous thing for young me to do – much like boys masturbate openly in high school gym locker rooms, etc. I do not as a rule encourage open masturbation, but I have never fussed nor scolded them for it, either. Although I have never confined them to privacy, its completely up to them. Because we are always nude in and around the house, both my sons occasionally fondle &/or play with their penises – not purposefully or as in a structured masturbation activity, only as instinctive self-touching – often openly with myself present, and a few occasions in front of my girl friends, while watching their reactions. They never masturbate as exhibitionism or indulging in lustful or gratification purposes to gauge the reactions of people watching them as they masturbate, for some sort of self-indulgent purposes – that would not be healthy! I normally never masturbate in front of my sons, instead I excuse myself to my room to attend to my needs. Only once or twice on or the other of them have accidentally walked in on me while I was busy pleasuring myself, to which I look up and ask them to please leave the room, I’ll be with them when I’m finished. It has never been a part of our family’s nudist lifestyle to inhibit open masturbation in the presence of others; its really not that big a deal. I think I have handled the issue of masturbation and our son’s overall sexual development in a healthy and open way.
