My boss keeps groping me [F26]at work functions

I am a personal assistant at a small consulting firm. My boss isn’t quite at the top of the pyramid, but high enough to require an assistant. I’ve been with him for 6 months. He does knows I have a bf and taken and still had the guts to act like this is just crazy to me

We spend a lot of time alone together in his office, in transit, waiting for clients in public, and occasionally on business trips. He was always kind of “hands on” in the beginning, but it was never anything glaringly inappropriate. Helping me in and out of cars, guiding me by the arm, patting me on the shoulder for a job well done. That sort of thing. But for the last couple of months, he’s slowly gotten more and more handsy with me.

It started with a subtle shift. Instead of gently pushing on my arm to move me out of the way, he started touching my waist. Instead of pats on the shoulder, I got pats on the lower back. Instead of stepping off to the side when he helped me stand, he’d stand so I’d end up only inches away from him when he helped me up.

At first, I just thought he felt more comfortable with me since we spend so much time together. I know he’s my boss, but we’re fairly close in age (only 6 years apart) and I like him as a person, so it didn’t seem very odd. But looking back, I feel like he was slowly trying to close the gap and gauge how far he could go with me.

Recently, he’d been much more straightforward in his approach. On a couple nights out with clients, he’d alternate between touching my back/waist and my ass. It was subtle enough to be mistaken for a tipsy mistake, but happened often enough that I knew it wasn’t. Then, just yesterday, he actually grabbed me for the very first time.

We were at a social event with clients and he’d spent the night checking in with me like he normally would. He always touches my arm in front of other people. But when he could find a spot that was harder to see, he’d stand next to me, rest his hand on my ass, and lean in to talk business like that was completely normal.

After the event ended, we took a long time client out for drinks at a nearby lounge. He didn’t touch me there, but once we got the client in an Uber, he stood next to me on the sidewalk stroking my waist while he had me call one for each of us. We only waited for 5 minutes or so, but he just kept rubbing my waist over my dress the entire time. He kept alternating between soft, gentle strokes, like the kind he gives me when we’re working – and deep, long, slow ones that felt like he was trying to undress me in his mind. And the entire time, he just scrolled on his phone and talked about next week’s schedule.

My car pulled up first. He asked, “Is this you?” and suddenly gripped my ass hard than anyone has ever grabbed it before. My breath caught a little and he just held it while the car pulled in. Then he gave it a little shake, told me to text him when I got home, and gave me a little pat. I just nodded and hurried into the car.

The whole ride home I was so embarrassed. My body was hot, I could feel my nipples pressing into my bra, and all I could think about was the way his hand felt. I’m just so confused. I know it’s wrong because he’s my boss. I feel like I should’ve said something ages ago and told him to stop. But it didn’t bother me before, and I didn’t dislike it last night either.

I can’t stop thinking about the way his voice changed when he said “Is this you?” and grabbed me. It was so much deeper than usual, and more commanding. I keep wondering if that’s what he sounds like outside of work. And I can still physically feel the way he rubbed my ass. My body goes flush and my cheeks get hot just thinking about it. And I really can’t stop thinking about it.
